About Me

Nice to meet you! My name is Kourtney and I'm excited to be your music tutor whether it's for music theory or learning an instrument. I believe in bringing humor, positivity, and reassurance into my tutoring/teaching because learning music can seem to be a bit strenuous at times. But all it takes is a positive vibe and patience, and then music is fun to learn! I professionally tutored students in Music theory since 2020 and I've been teaching flute for since 2023... In terms of taking the AP Music Theory Exam, I scored a 4 when I took the test so I'm confident in helping students score high on their upcoming exams :)
