About Me

Helping students achieve their full potential is the reason I got into teaching over 15 years ago. Developing young minds is more than teaching memorization, but rather it's teaching students how to think critically, apply knowledge, and ultimately fall in love with learning. That is what I hope for your student in this endeavor; that they will continue to be a lifelong learner. Not every student learns in the same structured way. I believe every student is unique and brings those unique skills to the table when learning content. My goal is to build a relationship with each student so that I get to know who they are as a person and help them unlock their full potential. AP Biology, AP Environmental Science, and High School Biology are my specialties in accordance with my education. Because of my work as an AP instructor, I am up to date on the course content and standards for the national AP exams in these areas. I would like to transfer what I have learned teaching students in a private school classroom setting to a personal, one on one level. My ultimate goal is to challenge your student to be their best and achieve with excellence. I look forward to the opportunity to work with your student.
