I am a graduate of the Medill School of Journalism of Northwestern University with an MSJ in Broadcast Journalism, and of Binghamton University of the State University of New York with a Bachelor of Arts in English, Rhetoric and Literature. I tutored Spanish while in college and worked as a translator for a municipal agency in the City of New York for many years. I enjoy tutoring essay writing, English Literature and critical thinking skills, and Spanish. I enjoy working with students to help them achieve their academic goals. I love seeing a student's face when they get that 'A-ha' moment, and I especially love knowing that I contributed to that. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, journaling, cooking, singing, dancing, and spending time with family.
