I also studied at the Universidad Catlica de Chile in 2019 where I participated in a medical internship program. I am a Board Certified Interpreter for Spanish, and have 2 years of experience working as such with Spanish speaking patients in hospitals, as well as translating medical documents to Spanish. I have lived in a Latinamerican country for over a year, where I acquired speaking fluency in Spanish informally, but also have extensive education in Spanish, where I acquired formal grammar and vocabulary skills. I have been tutoring English/Spanish speaking students for 3 years now, and I specialize in tutoring students hoping to gain conversational fluency, grammar skills, and a larger vocabulary in Spanish, and make learning a new language fun at the same time! My teaching philosophy centers around my belief that every student has different strengths, and benefit from a unique approach to their learning.
