I hold a Master of Art in Education specializing in Special Education. I also have a Bachelor of Social Work and have spent the past 25 years working with children and adolescents. I believe all children have a learning strength; you just have to be patient enough to help them find it. I have taught in both private and public schools, from elementary to high school. I am an avid reader and enjoy sharing my love of reading with students.

My personal interests include reading, gardening and music. It is not uncommon for me to incorporate music into my lessons and sessions.
