I received my master's in special education. I received a Bachelor of Science in elementary education from SMSU. Since graduation, I have been a substitute teacher, taught vocal and instrumental music, taught in preschool, elementary, and middle school classrooms. Most recently I have begun tutoring TESOL and ESL students. I am working on getting certified in both of those areas in SD. I strongly encourage everyone to become a lifelong learner. I am always something new to help me improve my teaching. When I am not teaching, I am caring for my herd of goats, rescue dogs, and helping my husband remodel our home.
