Prior to becoming an NP I worked for 10 years as an RN in various hospital settings. My teaching experience includes teaching CNAs as an adjunct professor and tutoring kids with difficulty reading. I spend a great deal of my clinical time with patients educating them. I have also been a preceptor for RN and NP students.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing with my dog, gardening, and baking.
