About Me

I am a Board Certified Cognitive Specialist with an Advanced Certification in Child & Youth Mental Health. My degrees include a BS in Healthcare Administration and Psychology, an AS degree in Architectural Technology Masters in Instructional design, specifically related to accessibility for online learning. As an avid learner and adventurer, I love sharing my knowledge with children, teens and adults alike. Teaching, to me, is about learning how my student learns, understanding their strengths and challenges, and adapting my skills for their best outcomes, in a way that is both fun and comprehensive. I am certified as an ESL (English as Second Language) teacher and Enseignant de francais langue etranger (FLE) to teach French as a foreign language. I volunteer as an advocate for individuals with neurodiverse challenges and mental health needs, and in my spare time I enjoy art, cooking, photography, and walking.
