About Me
After graduating high school from Phillips Academy Andover, I am now a rising First-Year in the class of 2024 at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Throughout my life, I have been fascinated by all things STEM, but in particular, I have become especially passionate about math and chemistry. In high school, I was also involved in the Math Study Center as a volunteer tutor where I would meet with students from all courses to provide assistance with homework or classwork. During my three years as a study center tutor, I met with students in algebra 1 all the way up to students in multivariable calculus and linear algebra. I am also particularly passionate about organic chemistry and have spent much of my high school career taking classes and doing projects on the subject. In my experience, tutoring is most effective when students are given the opportunity to discover results independently. My role as a tutor is to guide and facilitate this journey of discovery. Outside of academia, I enjoy the piano, folding origami models, and playing squash.
Hobbies & Interests
Academically, I am interested in mathematical analysis, quantum physics, and organic chemistry. Outside of school, I enjoy the piano, folding origami models, and playing squash when I can.
