- My students appreciate my energy, positivity, and love of math, and they know how much I care about them.
About Me
I graduated from Amherst College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 2009, and from Wesleyan University with a Masters of Arts Liberal Studies with a concentration in Mathematics in 2018. While at Amherst I spent a semester abroad at the University of Edinburgh. I also attended Columbia Teachers College's Klingenstein Summer Institute in the summer of 2012. I've been teaching professionally since I graduated from college--first at a charter school, then at a boarding school, and now at an independent day school--but my teaching experience started in childhood, when I helped my four younger siblings with their homework. I've taught English and History before, but now I'm a full-time math teacher, and I teach everything from Algebra to Geometry to PreCalculus to Calc, and I've worked with students at the honors, college prep and fundamentals levels. In addition to teaching, I am also a high school varsity coach with a record of success in football and lacrosse.
Hobbies & Interests
As a high school coach, I watch a lot of football and lacrosse film. I also love to read and play board games, and my wife and I are preparing for the birth of our first child this fall.
