Learning from educators who are not only well-versed in their subjects, but truly devoted to inspiring enthusiasm for learning in others, is what has led me to pursue tutoring myself. I have gained so much from my experiences teaching English as a foreign language to Italian students in Bologna, Italy and as a voluntary tutor for students from disadvantaged areas in Dublin, Ireland. What I enjoy most about tutoring is how it enables me to conceive of concepts and texts I'm familiar with in entirely new ways, through the perspectives of my students. I love music of all kinds, particularly going to hear live music. I'm also a interested in film, travel, and walking outdoors.

My love for reading as a small child has developed into a life-long passion for language, literature, and education.
