My unique background as a professional actor and playwright in New York City along with my 6 years of experience working in classrooms grades K-8 provide me with the tools to create an engaging and focused tutoring session. I hold three Pennsylvania Instructional I Certifications (Communications [Language Arts] 7-12, Social Studies 7-12, and K-6 Elementary), a Master's Degree in Education, a BA in Theatre, and have advanced undergraduate coursework in literature and history. I believe, ultimately, all students hold the keys to their own academic achievement, it is up to me to help them unlock the door so they may accomplish any challenge that stands in their way. I will create a learning environment filled with integrity, accountability, responsibility, and fun resulting in a successful outcome for all.
