About Me

I love the aspects of learning and teaching. Being able to help someone understand something is really rewarding. I'm currently pursuing my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Arizona State University as well as a minor in Spanish. I served a two-year mission in Peru for my church. It was there that I learned and grew to love the Spanish language. For this reason I tutor Spanish. I also tutor high school and middle school level math, such as geometry and algebra. I think that each person is unique with unique sets of strengths and weaknesses. I believe that the key to successful tutoring is explaining and teaching the material in a way that the student actually learns. To do so you have to know the student and how they understand things. I'm a quick thinker and dedicated so this helps me understand the strengths of a student to be able to use them to help learn.
