I've been teaching on the college level for nearly four years, and I also work as a tutor in the Writing Center at College of the Sequoias. Throughout 2012-2013, I led writing activities for incarcerated youth in the Fresno Juvenile Justice Center. I firmly believe that, with enough practice and hard work, every student has the potential to read and write well. I tutor multiple subjects connected to English - essay editing, grammar and mechanics, writing, and ESL. I write in my free time, so I love imparting students with an appreciation of reading and writing. I also play drums in two different metal bands, and I love to ride my fixie around town.
