About Me
After graduation I decided to take a gap year before applying for a graduate degree program and worked for six months at a winery internship in California. Over my high school and college years I tutored high school students in a variety of math and science topics, my favorites being Geometry and Chemistry. In my experience working with students who are struggling in math and science, I aim to help them develop their problem solving toolkit and build confidence in their academic intuitions. I'm a very visual learner and teacher, and I like to use charts, drawings, and physical models to help illustrate abstract concepts and make them more tangible and understandable. In this way, I've channeled my interest in chemistry into a love of food science, and in my free time I like cooking, reading, photography, and crafts.
