About Me

I enjoy working with different types of students and helping them achieve their goals. I have my teaching certificate in Elementary Education from Benedictine University. I did my clinicals with 1st and 3rd graders in Reading and Math, and my student teaching in 2nd grade. I have also volunteered in a first grade classroom helping with Writing. While I have worked with 1st through 3rd graders, I like working with all elementary and middle school students. My favorite subject is Math but I also love Reading. Helping students in Math and Reading are my strong areas. I like to have fun with learning and help students relate the subject matter to real life situations for better retention. At home I love spending time with my family. A few things we like to do are go to sporting events, mini golf and traveling. I also love exercising, baking and reading a good book.
