I am a third grade teacher. I have been teaching for seven years grades K-6 and I have loved each bunch! My favorite subjects to teach are Reading, Writing, and Math. I graduated from Penn State (We Are!) with a degree in Elementary Education in 2007 and earned my Master's degree in K-5 Mathematics in 2010. I am married and have one beautiful daughter. Although I love being a teacher, my favorite thing to do is tutor! I really enjoy working with kids one-on-one to help them overcome a hurdle or brush up on their skills, and I love seeing the excitement and pride in their eyes when they finally "get" it! It is one of the true joys of my job. As I mentioned, Language Arts and Math are my favorite subjects to really dig into but I love all subjects! I am here to help!

Spending time with my family, the beach, reading a good book, scrapbooking, going for a hike!
