I'm not tutoring or buried in my textbooks, you will either find me rock climbing at the Triangle Rock Club, playing Ultimate Frisbee, working on my car, or enjoying the great outdoors (beaches, mountains, forests--you name it, I love it). On rainy weekends I enjoy tinkering with computers and old electronics, playing Pokemon, or picking at my guitar.

I am a rising senior at Duke University. I major in Computer Science and am also getting a minor in Physics. I have had experience tutoring/teaching as a teaching assistant for three classes: Intro to Databases, Electricity and Magnetism (for engineers), and Computer Network Architecture. I have had industry experience in software development as an intern for IBM and a cybersecurity analyst for TIAA. Outside of school/work, I play the piano and train with the Duke Taekwondo Club. I have a strong background in computer science, physics, and math, but I love learning about and helping students with a wide variety of subjects!
I am currently in my fourth year of medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Learning science is my passion, but I also enjoy running, trying new food, and reading classic books. I would love to be part of your journey by helping you love mastering the task at hand. No doubt, you will see your best results once you have learned to enjoy the grind of becoming an expert of the material placed before you. Together, we can learn to enjoy the process as well as enjoy the results you will achieve. Whether you are working through upper-level science courses to complete a pre-med degree, taking the MCAT before applying to medical school, or studying for the USMLE Step 1 or 2 exams to get into the residency of your dreams, I can help you achieve your goal. With whatever content we are mastering together, we will work to be as organized and planned as possible. "Those who fail to plan, plan to fail!"
I am rising junior at Duke University studying biomedical engineering and mathematics. Since junior year of high school I have really enjoyed tutoring students. I have been fortunate to tutor students of many ages, ranging from freshman in high school to juniors in college. I am most passionate about mathematics, engineering, and anything STEM essentially. I really believe that the reason students don't like these subjects is because they have had a rough initial experience studying these topics. I believe that with the right guidance and tutoring, everyone can appreciate STEM and understand why it is so crucial in our daily lives. In my free time, I love to run, play basketball, and watch movies.
I am passionate about biomedical engineering, and am endlessly amazed by intricacies of the world around us. My degrees are in engineering (BS-General Engineering from Harvey Mudd, MS- Mechanical Engineering, and PhD-Bioengineering from Georgia Tech), but I also love art and literature and linguistics. Outside of academics, I am an avid sports fan (and rugby player) and I love to cook, hike with my dog, and travel.
I am a senior in college at UNC - Chapel Hill and love helping others. I am a firm believer in helping others help themselves. I am a strong and passionate leader and look forward to working with students in the areas that they need help in in a comfortable way to ensure that they are confident in their academics.
I'm passionate about STEM education intertwined with the liberal arts. I double-majored in Chemical Engineering & French Language and Literature at NC State University so I value a holistic, well-rounded education. Thus, I am comfortable tutoring in many subjects, including Science,French, Math, English and standardized testing such as the ACT, SAT, and AP exams. I have significant experience as both a one-on-one middle & high school tutor during college and teaching high school students after college. When tutoring a student, I am extremely patient. I understand that struggling with a subject can be frustrating and many people prefer to avoid the work all together. I have learned that relating difficult topics to something the student enjoys is an effective learning tool. I combine this technique with hands-on examples. In my experience, practice does make perfect! My pedagogical style is process-based and goal-oriented. I like students to set a goal (or several), collaborate with me on a process to achieve it, and then put the plan into action with individualized methodology and assessment. I look forward to working with you and helping you understand, solve, and achieve!
I am confident in my ability to work well with students and their parents. I provide tools, resources and a mindset necessary to improve your child's academic performance and meet their desired goals.
I am a 7-12 certified middle school History teacher. I also am on the premedical track. I have a major in History and minors in Biology/Chemistry from Duke University.
I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics. I primarily tutor physics and math subjects. I especially love tutoring physics because it is an opportunity to make sense of the physical world surrounding us through mathematical relationships. Many students have difficulty with physics at first because it introduces new methods of thinking, so I love trying to help students reach that "click" moment where everything comes together. The actual calculations of physics problems may be daunting, but I aim to strengthen fundamental concepts during my tutoring sessions so that students feel confident to tackle difficult problems on AP and other standardized tests. Outside of my academic pursuits, I love music production, sound design, and song writing.
I am a graduate of Duke University with a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering and Economics. I started tutoring in high school, working with Spanish-speaking ESL students in their native language as volunteer service. Due to my exceptional academic performance, family friends and members of my local church would often ask me to tutor their children, a request I would grant as much as my schedule allowed. My professional experience with tutoring only began in college, when I was hired as a teaching assistant for the Duke TIP summer program. After graduation, I worked for an international test prep company for two years. In addition to teaching classes on the SAT, ACT, and SAT II Subject Tests, I also provided private tutoring services in high school-level math, statistics, and physics.
I am an undergraduate engineering student at North Carolina University, I plan on double majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I love math; the logic and problem solving involved in the subject makes this my favorite subject to tutor. Similarly, I also enjoy physics because this subject is like a puzzle, and I enjoy breaking a problem down into its components. I tutor math up to Calculus 3 and Physics from High School Physics 1 and AP Physics to College level physics.
I am a second-year college student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I have previous tutoring experience and I have learned numerous skills and techniques that will help you grow as a student. Outside of school and studying, I enjoy playing sports, such as soccer, tennis, and basketball.
I am a trained STEM tutor with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Clemson University. Specializing in physics, math and chemistry, I have a passion for understanding these topics that I hope to pass on to your student.

I believe that every student has a distinct academic entry point, and I'm passionate about helping them discover and cultivate their passions. Let's embark on this learning journey together!
I am passionate about helping students, because the young generation is the future of our society. With the correct learn method and effective help, everybody can achieve the goal they set for themselves.
I'm a junior at Yale University pursuing a double major in Linguistics and Theater. I have experience tutoring in a variety of subjects, but I'm particularly excited to help students with writing, critical reading, and SAT or ACT preparation. I had a strong support network of teachers and mentors throughout middle and high school, so I understand firsthand the importance of thoughtful, individualized educational enrichment. I seek to meet each student where they are in order to help them reach their greatest potential! When I'm not tutoring, you might find me performing improv comedy, playing saxophone, or trying to write the next great American musical.
I am currently a student at Brown University seeking a degree in molecular biophysics. I love studying physics and its many applications in the realms of the life sciences.
