Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Fairmont State University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on General Business. I'm also a certified TESOL/TEFL instructor.
I have a background working in customer service in customer contact centers (call centers) as both an agent and a manager.
I currently work with children in China (remote) teaching English as a Second language. I've tutored children in basic (elementary) English and Math for about 3 years.
While I enjoy teaching almost any subject; I enjoy teaching ESL and reading the most. I believe that everyone should become as educated as possible. Education is the one thing that no one can ever take away from you. Your mind is the best investment you can make. I believe that reading, spelling, and writing are fundamental in developing a base from which to learn.
In my spare time, I enjoy learning new languages like Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, and Chinese. I also enjoy blogging, hiking through the nature preserves, going to the zoo, the movies, and spending time with our animals. We have 4 chickens, 2 mini pig, 3 cats, an aquarium with fish, 12 lizards (geckos), and 1 turtle.
