I taught composition for the last three years at Santa Clara University, in San Jose, and for three years before that at U.C. Santa Cruz. In the classroom and during tutoring sessions, I'm warm, engaging, and I strive to make my students feel comfortable and supported. I have expertise in all facets of college and high school writing, from literary analysis, to research
Hobbies & Interests
Outside of teaching, I'm a published author who mostly writes speculative fiction. I love hiking and camping with my family, as well as practicing martial arts and softball. I'm a fan of anime, classic video games, and I'm always interested in finding new music.
