I truly believe every child can grow, and helping students see that growth in themselves is what I love most. There's nothing better than watching a student gain confidence and have that moment when learning finally clicks - it's worth celebrating! With my experience in elementary classrooms and as an interventionist and instructional coach, I know that every child learns differently. I focus on building strong relationships and getting to know each child as a whole, including their strengths, challenges, and anything that might be getting in the way of learning. I work to create a supportive space where students feel comfortable, encouraged, and ready to give it a try, because learning takes courage, and we're in it together! When I’m not teaching, you can usually find me cheering on my kids at their activities or keeping up with our playful dogs and cat, who definitely think they run the house. I love getting lost in a good book, exploring new places, and soaking up sunshine at the beach whenever I can. Life is busy, a little chaotic at times, and full of moments that make me smile.
