I am specifically experienced with teaching essay writing, creative writing, reading literacy, psychology, counseling, statistics, and other testing needs. With tutoring, I always try to use visuals, strong examples, and customize my teaching for each specific student, while uplifting strengths, giving clear instructions, and understanding that learning takes time. I have taken several creative writing, psychology, and statistics courses throughout my life as well as interned at youth program centers and was teaching assistant for a high school. I am confident in many teaching environments and understand that youth learners thrive when they receive one on one attention for their specific needs. I am an enthusiastic person that will always try to make learning interesting, productive, and fun.

I have several interests including travel, writing, stitching, customizing clothes, going to concerts, and drawing. For the past couple of years, I have been working on several different books and am currently knee-deep in a new fictional novel, which has been incredibly fun. From traveling, I have a strong global perspective and a respect for all cultures. I love learning new languages and have been practicing Spanish, Italian, and French. I would say that I center myself around creativity and constant learning, which I implement into tutoring.
