I believe that fostering a genuine connection with students not only helps them learn technical skills but also ignites their passion for their chosen paths. In my teaching experiences from K-12 classrooms to college lectures I focus on guiding students to discover their true aspirations. Be creative. This approach empowers them to realize their potential and fosters a sense of ownership over their projects. I emphasize the importance of building relationships and exploring diverse opportunities. A little about me, I'm from Oakland, California and got my start assisting on music videos. From there, I got my first writers room gig script coordinating on several tv shows and miniseries. Then I was staffed on an HBO show and FBI:International. I've won two NAACP awards for my work as a script consultant on podcasts. Currently I'm teaching at DePaul while developing more ideas.
