About Me

I am a graduate of The University of Central Florida. I received my Bachelor's in Elementary Education. Since graduation, I have tutored children who were struggling at school, away from their traditional school setting for athletic events, or homeschooled. I particularly enjoy teaching Reading and Writing skills, ELA and Essay interpretations. I only work with children K-6, since this is what I am qualified for and experienced with. I have also tutored abroad in Europe, and am a bilingual speaker in German and English. I am most passionate about teaching young children and emerging readers, as well as English learners. I equally enjoy teaching adult learners the basics of German language. What I love most about tutoring is the ability to solely focus on an individual, and deliver a carefully catered learning approach, rather than a standardized way of teaching that is only serving a group of children, without recognizing and acknowledging their individual needs for learning, sparking interest, and positive feedback. Every individual learns in different ways, and tutoring allows the alterations needed for this student to succeed!
