As a passionate educator with a Bachelor's in Special Education from Eastern Washington University, I have over 25 years of experience in tutoring and classroom settings in both public and private education. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where every student feels valued and empowered to succeed. I believe in using tailored methods that meet individual learning needs, which fosters both academic growth and confidence. I am also committed to sharing my professional experience when specialized services might be something to explore for a child's success. Outside of teaching, I enjoy exploring new educational resources and reading, which continually inspires my approach to teaching. I am dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential and develop a lifelong love for learning.

I enjoy anything outside in the amazing four seasons. I was raised on a farm. My husband and I continue this tradition on a small scale to this day. Fun fact about me is that I have worked with giraffes. I also still have my favorite classroom pets Birdie and Moses. They are tortoises who have quite the personalities.
