As a passionate educator with a Master's in Teacher Education from Claremont Graduate University, I bring over 25 years of tutoring experience across a variety of subjects, including Adult ESL, AP English Language and Composition, and College English. I tailor my approach to meet individual learning needs, helping students build confidence and mastery in their skills. In addition to my commitment to education, I enjoy exploring historical literature, which deepens my connection to the curriculum and enhances my teaching. I am dedicated to helping all students succeed and instilling a lifelong love for language and literature.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading, writing, and coaching authors through my publishing work. I’m active in my community and love opportunities to mentor and support others in their personal growth. I also enjoy traveling with my family—especially to Costa Rica—and value time for reflection, journaling, and walking, which help me stay grounded and inspired in both life and teaching. I'm also an avid runner and hiker and am learning how to love the gym, too.
