About Me

With a Master's degree in Education from Mercy College and over twenty five years of experience in both tutoring and classroom settings, I am passionate about fostering a supportive learning environment where every student can thrive. I hold certifications in Special Education K-12 and Social Studies 7-12, specializing in subjects such as American History, Participation in Government/Economics, Global Studies as well as Algebra and Earth Science. My teaching philosophy centers on differentiated instruction, allowing me to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each student. I believe in building strong connections with my students to inspire their academic journeys. Outside of teaching, I enjoy traveling, hiking, and engaging with diverse communities, which enriches my perspective and enhances my teaching practice.
