As an educator with a bachelor's degree in mass communication from Loyola University New Orleans and a master's degree in strategic leadership from Tennessee State University, I have over five years of experience teaching public speaking. My approach centers on creating a supportive environment where students feel empowered to express who they really are so that they can develop their public speaking and communication skills while increasing their self-confidence. Outside of helping students on Varsity Tutors, I am a professional public speaking coach, ethical leadership speaker, college instructor, award-winning broadcaster, and communications strategist. I also enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, making people laugh, and reading.
