About Me
After earning my Bachelor's of Arts/Bachelor's of Science in cellular and molecular biology from the Evergreen State College in 2011, I trained newly hired medical scribes across various specialties, covering topics such as medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and pharmacology. Following my Master's in the Art of Medical Sciences from Heritage University, I am eager to continue teaching and helping students excel in general biological sciences, including anatomy & physiology and AP biology. My teaching philosophy emphasizes creating a supportive environment where students are encouraged to ask questions and explore complex concepts, using relatable examples and interactive discussions to make challenging material accessible. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading about life sciences advancements and exploring the outdoors, which often inspires my teaching approach.
