With 25 years of government service combined with a Master's degree in Public Management from Northern Arizona University and a Bachelor's in Political Science from the University of Arizona, I bring a wealth of knowledge and real-world experience to my teaching. My teaching philosophy centers on tailoring lesson plans to meet the unique needs of each student, creating a supportive environment where students feel engaged and motivated to learn by connecting course material to their interests for optimal applicability. I am committed to fostering academic growth and confidence in my students, particularly in public speaking and writing, as I believe these skills are essential for success in any field.
