About Me

My job is to become unemployed. I want my students to eventually learn and grow without needing me. My goal isn't just to help students master material - it's to teach them how to learn, how to think independently, and how to build confidence in their own problem-solving abilities. I've taught and mentored students across a wide range of subjects - from middle school math and SAT prep to calculus, finance, and investments. My experience spans middle schoolers, high school and college students, as well as informal mentorship of peers and younger professionals navigating academic or career goals. Outside the classroom, I've worked in accounting and as a business analyst at a renewable energy investment firm, giving me firsthand insight into how academic concepts and core skills translate into real-world value. Whether we're breaking down functions, prepping for standardized tests, or unpacking financial topics (I'm FINRA Series 66, Series 63 & SIE certified), I focus on demystifying complexity and making learning approachable. With the right approach, I believe even calculus can be taught to a middle schooler.
