The reason I tutor the SAT, specifically, is that, because I'm just out of high school, I still vividly remember the strategies I devised while rigorously studying for the SAT, from memorizing passage structures and common question types, to finding strategies to eliminate answer choices before even starting questions. Understanding these strategies doesn't have to be hard, though, and I want to help students learn these strategies without having to figure them out themselves.
