I am a communications professional with a Master's degree in Publications Design from the University of Baltimore and have 30 years of graphic design experience in the magazine, non-profit and healthcare space. I use the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and can help students and professionals better understand and use those tools. My approach centers on fostering a supportive learning environment where creativity flourishes and students feel empowered to express their artistic visions. I strive to connect with each student by tailoring lessons to their individual interests and goals, ensuring that they not only grasp the technical aspects of the software but also develop their unique style. In addition to art and design, I am a music lover and try to attend live shows as often as I can. I love animals and support rescues in my area. I am an avid reader and enjoy historical fiction and procedural crime novels.
