I have years of experience working in education, including as a long-term substitute teacher in grades K5, and as a dedicated paraprofessional at an elementary school. I am currently in the final year of my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education at National Louis University. I specialize in supporting learners of all ages and backgrounds, and I have a strong track record of building positive relationships with students and families. Whether we're tackling phonics, reading comprehension, math concepts, or social-emotional skills, I believe learning should be engaging, personalized, and empowering. I meet students where they are, identify their strengths, and guide them toward success at their own pace. My teaching style is warm, encouraging, and structured and I strive to make every session both effective and enjoyable. My goal is not just to help students complete their assignments, but to help them build lifelong skills and confidence that extend beyond the classroom. Outside of teaching, I enjoy crafting, reading, walking, and spending quality time with my family. I'm also passionate about personal growth and love exploring mindfulness, journaling, and social-emotional learning.
