With 28 years of experience as a dedicated kindergarten teacher, I bring a deep understanding of early childhood education to my tutoring practice. I specialize in tutoring all elementary school subjects and working with kindergarten through sixth-grade students. I hold a valid teacher certification in elementary education (K6), along with two master's degreesone in Remedial Reading and Language Arts (with certification), and another in Special Education. In addition to classroom teaching, I have tutored students in grades kindergarten through sixth in reading and writing, helping them strengthen their literacy skills and build confidence. I use a variety of evidence-based strategies tailored to each child's learning stylewhether phonics instruction, guided reading, writing workshops, or language games to boost engagement. I also believe in using the science of reading to guide instruction, and I currently implement these research-based methods in my classroom every day.
