About Me

I am a graduate of Colby College. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics with a minor in Physics, and I have a Master of Arts in Math Education. I have taught HS math for the past decade in NYC public and charter schools, and I have tutored many students across the country. I am most passionate about teaching and tutoring students in math across middle and high school grade levels. I love sharing my passion for math, and I love helping students reach their goals. I approach tutoring by considering the whole student. I like learning about each student's view of mathematics and their unique perspective. This in turn helps me to translate the content in ways that make sense to each student.
