About Me

My name is Charles Trotter, and this is my nineteenth year in education. I currently teach all levels of math at a public high school in North Texas that serves that needs of at-risk students. Prior to this, I taught at a private school for students with learning differences. My time there taught me the value of recognizing each student's unique gifts and capacity to learn. I know each child can succeed and I hope to bring out the very best in all my students. Over the years, I have taught everything from 3rd grade math to Calculus. In addition, I have tutored and taught math at the university level. I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas Wesleyan University and a Master of Education degree in Mathematics Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Arlington.
