As a dedicated educator with a strong passion for helping students, I believe that every student has the potential to succeed with the right support and guidance. I am a middle school science teacher and have experience working with students at various academic levels, particularly focusing on strengthening questioning skills, encouraging a positive mindset, and improving vocabulary, sentence structure, and math skills. My favorite subjects to tutor are Science, English, and math because I enjoy seeing students gain confidence as they develop their foundational skills. I focus on creating engaging lessons tailored to each student's needs, making complex concepts more approachable through practical examples and interactive activities. I believe in a growth mindset and encourage my students to embrace challenges as opportunities for learning. Outside of academics, I am passionate about music, having sung in my church choir for many years, and I enjoy organizing community events that bring people together. My love for music and community engagement translates into my teaching style, where I aim to create a positive, encouraging environment that fosters connection and learning. I look forward to helping students reach their full potential and build the skills they need for success.
