Since graduation, I have worked as a research scientist before moving into teaching. I have been teaching for the past 19 years, the last 15 as my school's chemistry and AP chemistry instructor. I am hoping to tutor student working on and trying to improve in chemistry at a high school level. A strength I have is helping students connect complex ideas to gain a better understanding of chemistry concepts, and I enjoy the challenge of showing students they can do much better than they expect. I have been trained in AP chemistry curriculum which allows a wide range of topics I can help with.

I have always been a sports fan. I have played for years, but have hit the age when I am a spectator.
