About Me

I am passionate about helping students unlock their potential and develop a love for learning. With dual degrees in Mathematics and Philosophy from the University of Virginia and a Master's in Public Policy from Georgetown University, I possess strong analytical skills and a unique perspective on problem-solving. My tutoring expertise includes Mathematics, Spanish, and Government. I thrive on demystifying complex concepts and fostering critical thinking skills that benefit students across all subjects. My teaching philosophy emphasizes creating a supportive, engaging environment where students feel confident to explore and take intellectual risks. I do not believe that anyone is "bad" at any subject, but rather that they struggle to find the intuition that others pick up on. My role as a tutor is to help form that intuition. My experience as a Cultural and Language Assistant in Spain, along with my roles in various educational settings, has equipped me to connect with diverse learners. Outside of academia, I enjoy traveling extensively, having visited over 20 countries, which enriches my tutoring sessions with real-world context. I am committed to empowering students with the knowledge and confidence they need to succeed academically.
