About Me
I graduated from Grove City College, attaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. This educational background has highlighted my problem-solving skills, which I apply to make complex concepts accessible and engaging. I've taught everything from basic arithmetic to advanced calculus and from elementary music theory to College Level Music Theory. My teaching approach is student-centered and collaborative, focusing on breaking down problems step-by-step and encouraging critical thinking. By tailoring my methods to each student's needs, I aim to transform learning into an enjoyable experience and inspire a genuine interest in the subject. Outside of academics, I'm passionate about music and sports, playing several instruments and participating in many tournaments in sports. These interests reflect my belief in a well-rounded approach to education and personal growth. My goal is to make a positive impact on my students' lives and foster a love for learning.
Hobbies & Interests
Outside of work, I am deeply passionate about music and sports. I’ve played the piano for 16 years and the violin for 17 years, with a particular interest for improvisational piano and serving in worship bands. My background in music theory and having perfect pitch adds to my enjoyment of playing. In sports, I’ve spent 11 years each playing soccer and ping pong, 8 years playing badminton, and 6 years playing tennis. Currently, I am focused on pickleball, a rising sport that has captured my interest. I attend tournaments with the goal of eventually joining the Pro Pickleball Association (PPA) and pursuing a professional career in the sport.
