My name is Dr. Nweze, and I am an experienced teacher with 30 years of experience both in the classroom and in leadership. I have taught English at every secondary level from 6th through 12th grades, including Advanced Placement. To do this effectively, I have analyzed student data and observed student classroom performance to determine specific needs. Most importantly, I believe in having open conversations with students and parents to ensure their voices are in the work we do together. I have learned the importance of building trusting relationships with both parents and studentsparamount for any growth. I use all this information to develop plans of action that increase student achievement. To be sure that my plans are effective, I monitor and adjust based on formal data, classroom observations, and student voice.
