About Me
I recently finished my PhD from Yale University, where I studied Developmental and Cognitive Psychology. Specifically, I have designed experiments to research how adults and children learn about complicated things like combustion engines, how lightning bugs light up, etc. I have years of experience teaching and tutoring undergraduate college students in 1-on-1 sessions and in classrooms as large as 500+ students. Outside of the classroom or the lab, however, I also spend time teaching through coaching. In my role as an assistant coach for the Yale Softball team I have coached student-athletes to be their best on and off the field, helping them to balance and achieve their individual goals. I am excited to be able to continue to teach here with Varsity Tutors!
