About Me
My qualifications: Bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt in Biology and Art History Over 5 years of experience in scientific research and communication Work as a Math Instructor at Mathnasium for 2 years Teaching Assistant for Biology and Biochemistry courses This scientific background equips me with a robust understanding of complex biological concepts, which I enjoy breaking down into more digestible pieces for my students. I tutor this range of subjects: All forms of writing Particular specialization in college admission essays, fellowship applications, etc Scientific writing and communication Biology Chemistry Mathematics (ACT, SAT, GRE, up to multivariable calculus) My teaching philosophy centers around creating a supportive and interactive learning environment. I will check in throughout for questions and comments.
