- During my studies, I became a go-to resource for my peers in AutoCAD and Rhino solutions.
About Me
I am currently a student at Texas Tech University, having previously graduated from El Paso Community College with an Associate Degree in Science of Architecture. I am now pursuing my Bachelor's degree and have developed a robust skill set in design software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, InDesign, AutoCAD, Revit, and Rhino. Through guiding others, I discovered that visual examples, mock-ups, and simulations are highly effective in problem-solving and enhancing design concept execution. To support my classmates, I created tutorial videos that provided them with ongoing reference material. This initiative not only strengthened their skills but also reinforced my own knowledge. In my final year at EPCC, I had the opportunity to work in a makerspace lab, gaining valuable experience in digital fabrication and 3D design. My role involved guiding users of varying experience levels and career backgrounds to successfully execute their projects. I organized small workshops and individual sessions, particularly focusing on laser cutting, 3D printing, 3D modeling, and graphical representation. I firmly believe that everyone has a unique vision and perspective. My goal is to help individuals achieve their creative aspirations in a way that can be appreciated by others. In my personal time, I enjoy exercising, boxing, playing basketball, listening to and making music, and exploring the nuances of coffee.
Hobbies & Interests
I have a deep appreciation for music, both as a listener and a musician. Proficient in guitar and drums, I find that playing music not only fuels my creativity but also provides a balanced counterpoint to my architectural studies. In addition to my musical pursuits, I am dedicated to maintaining an active lifestyle. Regular sessions at the gym and my enthusiasm for boxing keep me physically fit and mentally focused. My interests also extend to the realm of visual and auditory media. I enjoy watching movies and listening to podcasts, often incorporating these activities into my workflow as I create mock-up models using various software tools. This practice not only enhances my technical skills but also keeps me informed and inspired by diverse perspectives and ideas. I am an avid coffee enthusiast. I find joy in discovering unique coffee shops during my travels, savoring new flavors, and often using these moments as opportunities to reflect and brainstorm new ideas. Traveling brings a profound sense of excitement and inspiration to my life and work. Exploring different spaces and interacting with diverse cultures not only enriches my understanding of architecture but also fuels my creativity. Each journey allows me to experiment with new environments and create lasting memories.
