During my time at UT, not only did I make the Dean's list the majority of my semesters there (even during the pandemic) I also TA'ed for a first-year course and enjoyed being able to help them, because I remember being a freshman and feeling super lost about things, so being able to help guide them and show them not only how to navigate software such as Rhino, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and other interfaces but also help them learn how they should think. Design studies are hard because there isn't always the traditional "right" answer, and that took me a bit longer to understand that even though there isn't a classical right and wrong, knowing how to think about and explain your design & design process is crucial.

Outside of academics, I enjoy exercising, reading, photography, going to the lake with friends (or anything else involving them), and playing with my dog.
