I graduated from Wilkinson County High School in 1990 and continued her education at Alcorn State University where she obtained her bachelor's degree in Educational Psychology with a minor in Elementary Education. She also obtained her master's degree from Alcorn in School Counseling with a minor in Special Education. Later in life, after becoming a mother of two girls, Summer and Skyelar, who are now young adults, Stephanie was determined to gain advanced degrees. Instead of physically attending school, she elected to take online courses so that she could remain home and raise her girls. Attending Walden University was an outstanding decision because it afforded her a distinct opportunity that was extremely rewarding as she was honored to obtain her education specialist and doctorate degrees in Leadership. I am affectionately called, is a certified/qualified educator with proven experience in both education and mental health. She has been in the workforce for almost 30 years. Currently, she is a school counselor in Louisiana. Her work experiences involve supportive capacities with children and adults as a team player, mentor, alternative school moderator, special education teacher, corrections officer, and consultant. An extension of her professional life involves motivational speaking/presenting. She motivates others by bringing them to a higher level of awareness using motivational messages and quotes. As an ordained evangelist, she is also passionate about using biblical text to strengthen the audience's faith. Dr. Steph is the CEO/Founder of Top Tier Coaching/Educational Consulting. As a coach, she helps women ages 21 and above to overcome past challenges of life so that they can focus on securing a successful future as desired. Her goal is to target underlying key personal, social, and emotional issues with which clients may be struggling. As a consultant, she is driven to address 5 hot topics: Balancing Academics with College Life, Collaborative Practices Among Educators, Transformative Co-teaching Practices, Bullying in the Workplace, From Grief to Gratitude, and Parental Involvement. She is excited to bring her gifts and experience to the table to serve others in an even broader capacity while continuing to lead a life of intention, purpose, and fulfillment. Dr. Steph is a member of several organizations which include Black Women with PhDs, Mississippi Counseling Association, Louisiana Federation of Teachers/School Employ

I enjoy traveling, learning, writing, reading, speaking engagements, meeting new people, spending time with family/friends. Also, I enjoy social gatherings and helping others become their higher selves.
