I received my Bachelors of Arts from Clayton State University, and my Masters of Arts in Teaching in Early Childhood Education from Mercer University. In my tenure as an educator, I have sponsored several clubs and organizations, to include (S.A.D.D.) Students Against Destructive Decisions, No Place for Hate, and the Book Club. In addition, I was the Auxiliary Director for the Dance Team, and was the Assistant Girls Track Coach the year they went on to win the state championship. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about ELA/Reading and Writing. As a current Academic Coach, I support teachers by modeling lessons, co-teaching, and providing professional development. I have a passion for education and believe all students deserve an effective teacher so who can guide them towards academic achievement.
