- I am a graduate of Brenau University, where I received a Master's Degree in Teaching.
- I began my teaching career in Atlanta Public Schools, where I taught 4th grade.
About Me
Since then, I have taught 4th grade, 5th grade, and Pre-Kindergarten in the Atlanta area. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Literacy and Math. I love using literacy texts and math exercises to help my students connect the subject matter to their own lives. I encourage my students to think critically by asking them open-ended questions and helping them develop individual approaches to problem-solving. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, watching football (go Falcons!), and playing with my Jack Russell Terrier, Nala.
Hobbies & Interests
My hobbies include reading, writing, watching football, and playing with my dog, Nala! On weekends, you can find me enjoying an outdoor Sunday brunch, or parked in front of the TV for Falcons football!
