About Me
I am a graduate of the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Education and from Andrews University with a degree in French Language Studies, with additional emphasis in History and Anthropology. I have taught ESL in Seoul, South Korea as well as elementary French in Canada and spent a number of years as a private tutor for elementary, high school and university students. I have a strong belief in the transformative power of education and am dedicated to helping my students achieve academic success and take pride in their accomplishments. My tutoring services cover a range of subjects including History, beginner French, as well as general elementary subjects and ESL. My goal for my ESL students is to enhance their conversational fluency and communication skills while also strengthening their reading and writing abilities in preparation for proficiency exams.
Hobbies & Interests
Beyond academics, my love for travel, fantasy literature, gaming, camping, and exploration the world with my children fuels my teaching philosophy. I believe in creating engaging learning experiences that go beyond the textbooks.
